Prevent Open Relay

Preventing your Domino server from being an Open Relay can be configured in the Server's Configuration document.

Go to the Router/SMTP Tab > Restrictions and Controls Tab > SMTP Inbound Controls Tab > and in the Inbound Relay Controls Section set the following fields to an Asterisk(*).

"Deny messages to be sent to the following external internet domains:" (* means all)

"Deny messages from the following internet hosts to be sent to external internet domains:"(* means all)
